This Site is dedicated to pupils and teachers who went through the School and lived to tell the tale. Although its gone whether your story is good or bad It was a good place to be, it might not have been the best, but at least it was interesting. There must be some ex pupils or teachers out there with Photographs of the school or staff, pupils.
The School was built in the early sixties, to house the senior boys from Moston Lane School and Lily Lane School. Built In Boggart Hole Clough, (The cost of building is elsewhere on the site) so this site sees the beginning and the end of Clough Top School. It seems to be such a shame its gone, it was an ideally placed school with so much going for it situated where it was. It appears the school was Eric Blackburns (The first Head) dream, and he had high hopes for its future. However as usual Politicians got involved a destroyed a dream. (See Newspaper Cuttings)
I think we are now known as baby boomers, a stupid description of us really, I really hate the term.
